Customer Spotlight: Grocer’s Daughter Chocolate
Grocer's Daughter Chocolate has been making premium chocolate confections in the little town of Empire, Michigan since 2004. Their iconic bright green shop is nestled along picturesque Lake Michigan in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
It all started with Mimi Wheeler, originally from Denmark, making bonbons for her friends for holidays and events. The name 'Grocer's Daughter Chocolate' is a reference to Mimi's youth, when her family owned the small grocery store in the rural village where she grew up.
In 2013, Mimi sold Grocer's Daughter Chocolate to her long-time friends Jody and DC Hayden, who continue to create high quality chocolate confections and have expanded to include a gelato and sweets shop right next door! Today, Grocer's Daughter Chocolate remains a family-owned, mission-driven business with a big love for craft chocolate and clean ingredient treats.
We are proud to supply Grocer's Daughter Chocolate with our Valencia Peanut Butter for their PB Pucks. Check out their website to learn more at www.grocersdaughter.com.
